It’s official!
The NFL’s only publicly owned franchise has the perfect stocking stuffer for Green Bay Packer fans!
Earlier today, the Green Bay Packers announced the details of the team’s 5th stock sale. All you crazy Cheeseheads, pay close attention.
Green Bay Packers Stock Sale Details
- Date: Tuesday, December 6th, 2011 to Wednesday, February 29th, 2012
- Time: Beginning at 8 am on December 6th
- Where: Fans can purchase stock by mail or at www.packers.com.
- Cost: $250 per share, with a 200 share cap
Other Details
For fans outside the United States, you could be out of luck. Packer fans with addresses in the U.S., Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands can purchase stock. For the men and women serving overseas, you can purchase stock by using your home address.
The funds raised by the stock sale will go toward the stadium renovation that will add 6,600 seats to the famous Lambeau Field.
For those of you just looking to make a good investment, take note! The Packers stock does not pay dividends. All funds go back into the organization. Fans still find value in the stock. For example, stockholders do get voting rights, along with invitations to attend annual meetings where they can meet Packers executives, tour the Packers Hall of Fame and celebrate the kickoff to training camp.
As a Fellow Pack Fan
For those of you who know me, you know I am absolutely ecstatic about the opportunity to become an owner of one of the world’s greatest professional teams. I mean, how many shareholders tailgate pre-meeting?
I think I fit the profile for perfect Packer part owner. What do you think?

Amanda, I Love It. 250 bucks is a small price for such a great honor. The team does invite you to many different important events, getting there is on the share holder, whether its 1 or a thousand. I will be purchasing my second share on the sixth. Love the Photo. The experience of a game at Lambeau can not be compared, there is nothing else like it. GO Pack.
Did you get your share? I got mine! Woo!
