As always, the @SI_Vault Twitter account is tweeting out compelling photos this morning (which is why you should be following them). Just a few moments ago, a pic of Matt Cassel and Todd Haley having a…discussion…was tweeted out that I found to be quite funny.

You see, during yesterday’s Chiefs home game against the Minnesota Vikings – which Kansas City won by the way, their first victory of the season – the coach and quarterback became slightly agitated by eachother.
Here is some video evidence to go along with the picture:
On many of the Sunday wrap up shows, it was reported that Cassel and Haley were upset at eachother regarding something that occurred during the football skirmish at Arrowhead Stadium. This is in fact erroneous, however.
Sources have informed MSF that Cassel took exception to his favorite mid-game snack being unnecessarily belittled and disparaged by the pugilistic Haley. Haley suggested that Cassel, “lay off the cookies” at halftime. Cassel then retorted, “It’s not a cookie…it’s a fig newton!”
Clearly, in the picture, you can see Cassel’s mouth forming the “f” sound while running back Thomas Jones inquires if Cassel has any fig newtons to spare. Haley just looks on in disgust, though suddenly hungry for a hot dog.

Actually, now that I look at the picture again, maybe that’s not what Cassel was about to say. But it was my best guess. I’ll turn it over to you.
Who has some ideas for what Cassel might have been saying to Haley? Best caption wins…

You might be on the something with your whole cookie/fig newton theory, because at the end Haley clearly says "That's a fucking fact."
