Yet another “LOLCubs” moment at Wrigley

As you know, I take great enjoyment in anything that is disparaging to the Chicago Cubs. While perusing Deadspin yesterday, I found yet another example of the Cubs being, well, the Cubs.

It’s this logo, located in the tunnel connecting the Cubs dugout to the clubhouse.

I also love how “LOLCubs” is the sports equivalent of “LOLCats”, at least in Deadspin’s world. That makes me ROTFLMAO.

But for seriously, how does something like this happen in a non-remote part of Wrigley Field? Because it’s Wrigley Field and they are the Cubs, that’s why.

  1. I hate you…

  2. zapple100 says:

I thought that was for the news station "CNBS."

  3. I'm not a Cubs fan, but seeing as the B and the S are both horizontally in line with each other, and the upside down U is not, I'm going to guess this is actually vandalism, or somehow the sign just broke. The former seems more likely however.

  4. As much as I can't stand the cubs, this is photoshop at it's finest. There is no consistency between the height of the letters and the shadows below.

  5. Yes, i too thought that this is logo of the news station 'CNBS". kindly go for a small research before posting.
