Sponsored Post: VIPRE Antivirus a panacea for PC users

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Sunbelt Software for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I am not a PC user. I made the leap to Macs a few years ago and left my virus-fearing days of yore in the past. However, I know that the majority of you still are PC users, which means that constant virus vigilance is a must.

So today I come bearing an MSF-tested recommendation for PC users that offers a solution to your virus concerns. It’s called VIPRE Antivirus software.

Our very own Amanda Lawson has been having some troubles recently with her computer being on the fritz. Apparently through the course of normal web-browsing and computing she contracted a multitude of viruses on her computer. The fine folks at Sunbelt Software gave us a free trial so that we could test out VIPRE before writing about it, and Amanda was eager to give it a whirl.

Her verdict: thumbs up.

She installed it last night (easily), scanned her computer, and has experienced nary a negative issue. She endorsed it, so I feel comfortable endorsing it as well.

The other key selling point that jumped out to me about VIPRE is the the speed. Antivirus programs are often the bane of performance, but VIPRE is designed in such a way so that it does not create a sluggish computing experience.

If you still own a PC and are not in love with your current antivirus software, give VIPRE a try. What do you have to lose? (Except performance, data, and possibly the functionality of computer if you succumb to a virus…)

When VIPRE did find viruses or "threats" on my computer, it gave me a break down of the severity of the threat and exactly how I could have picked it up (via ads or downloads). Then VIPRE gave me a break down of the recommended solution to get rid of the "threat". This is something I have not come across in my other virus protection. Easy, fast and understandable–a great program for someone who isn't "virus" savvy. I am quite pleased with the results I found!
