Sponsored Post: Veebeam HD may be the perfect solution for my major at-home annoyance

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of VeeBeam for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Raise your hand if you’ve considered getting rid of your cable plan or satellite TV because a) it will save you money and b) you find yourself flipping and flipping through the channels but lamenting how little good programming is actually available when you want it.

My hand is raised.

The only thing that has kept me from cutting the cable cord is the fact that I do like the on-demand features, I do like being able to watch sports live, and the status quo just seems easier than whatever solution I would find to ensure that I would still have these capabilities. Well, it’s possible that I just found a solution with Veebeam HD.

Full disclosure: I cannot be 100% certain because I have not actually tried this product out yet myself. However, when the folks at Veebeam asked me to pass along word of their product, I did not hesitate because I know that I want to acquire and use something like this in the very near future.

Here is the lowdown:

Veebeam HD is a way to wirelessly stream anything from your laptop to your TV. It lets you combine the video and audio performance of your current HDTV with the never-ending on-demand entertainment options available on your existing laptop. Also, it lets you share all your digital content with your family and friends.

Sounds like the perfect solution right?

I have a subscription to MLB.tv, so I could every White Sox game on my TV with this bad boy. And my favorite shows like White Collar and South Park can be streamed online soon after they air live. I rarely watch them as they air for the first time, so I could just pop open the lap top, connect wirelessly, and watch them on-demand (which is how I do it now anyway, minus the wireless convenience and lack of cable bill!).

Anyway, I think by now you should realize how cool this idea sounds. I will be investigating more, and I encourage you to do the same; and the folks at Veebeam are encouraging us even further by offering a discount code to MSF readers.

Use the discount code “20OFF” to get 20% off a Veebeam HD purchase.
