I did not know the NCAA allowed playes to play 5 years. Dogus B albay has already played 4 years for Texas and IS NOT comming back.

    Several holes in your analysis:

1 – Scott Drew is easily the worst x’s and o’s coach in the conference. You can add 3-4 losses to their conference total on that alone.

2 – Balbay and Lucas graduated

3 – You pick Baylor to win the league. This isn’t women’s hoops.

Apologies on Balbay and Lucas. The site I used to validate some of my rosters has them both still listed as playing. Balbay's freshman season slipped past me since he didn't actually play, and Lucas' transfer threw me off there. I will get the post updated today.

Baylor could certainly disappoint again for the reason you referenced, but I like their talent level and didn't want to pick one of the more traditional powers.

Sorry about that. He didn't play in his freshman year due to injury/eligibility issues, so that threw me off. I'll get the post updated.

If you didn't want to pick a traditional power, you could have picked the Aggies and then be able to tell all…"I told you so."

I did say the Aggies have a legit shot to win it, and despite the coaching change, they will be right there at the top all season. Middleton and Loubeau are the real deal, and I think Roberson takes a nice step forward too. Backcourt is the question for me (along with bench depth up front), but it seems like they have enough pieces there to make it work with Harris, Branch, Elston Turner, and Hibbert. Definitely a Top 20 squad in my eyes.
