Today’s Best: Jessica Alba, Vince Vaughn trolls Roberto Luongo, and video of Steve Nash’s night at the Minaj

Welcome to Today’s Best by MSF. This is our daily rundown of links, laughs, and lovely ladies that will help you get through your work day.

In today’s edition, Jessica Alba summons you to bed, Vince Vaughn trolls Roberto Luongo, Steve Nash enjoys some lap action from Nicki Minaj, and we link to a story that remembers one of Michael Jordan’s greatest playoff performances. And, of course, a whole lot more.

New section I’m starting today. Each day I’ll pick the best article from our great team of writers here at MSF and highlight it here.

Today, I will direct your attention to a new article posted this morning by Josh Tinley. It asks the question: which active players are locks or the Basketball Hall of Fame?

Today’s Best Beauty

I don’t know too many guys who do not find Jessica Alba attractive. So because I didn’t want to think too hard about today’s beauty (and because I stumbled upon the awesome animated GIF after the picture), Alba is the easy, safe choice.

As always, here is a gallery of Alba if you decide one pic just isn’t enough, and as promised, the awesome GIF below.

The 2011 NFL schedule is out. I refuse to get the least bit excited about this until we know these games will actually be played. One interesting note though: for the first since probably before Cecil Fielder, the Detroit Lions will be hosting a game on Monday Night Football.

25 years ago today, Michael Jordan became Michael Jordan.

The Lakers try to avoid going down 0-2 tonight. Here is a flowchart the describes how Kobe Bryant determines when to pass. And here is something I would file under “Only in L.A.”

Well this is tricky. The University of North Dakota will be in violation of NCAA rules if it follows state law. Seriously. Drew Lange…please provide authoritative commentary in the comment section.

This statistical comparison of current NFL QBs through the first 47 games shows that Aaron Rodgers is off to a pretty remarkable start.

Remember the woman who trumped up sexual assault charges against the Duke lacrosse players? She’s now being accused of murder.

Tiger Woods’ niece Cheyenne looks a lot like him. She’s also really good at golf too.

Here is a complicated flow chart to determine if your college football coach is cheating.

Apparently James Watson, one of the co-discoverers of DNA, has some rather disturbing, misogynistic, and racist views.

Pics & Gifs

The Blackhawks smashed the Canucks last night 7-2, keeping their first round series alive. During the game, Vince Vaughn trolled Canucks goalie Roberto Luongo.

If Hall & Oates were writing a caption for this picture, it would probably go something like this: Ryan Braun…he’s a haaandeater.

And for absolutely no good reason, here is a ridiculous animated GIF of Bill Cosby and his magic weiner.

Admit it: you’re laughing.

Did you know…that at end of each month, the President receives a bill for all food and incidental expenses incurred by he and the First Family?

Did you know…Judgment Day (the Skynet version) was yesterday?

Did you know…that Kenny actually says something during the South Park theme song, and that it differs from season to season? Apparently it’s true. (It’s also vulgar. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.)

Videos

Robert Littal at Black Sports Online came across this delicious video of Steve Nash getting a lap dance from Nicki Minaj. Steve looks about as awkward as most white dudes would probably look in this situation.

Hat tip to our friends at Guyism for finding this video. I would like to see the White Sox put this play in their arsenal. Maybe it would help us snap the 6-game skid.

The tornado stole his hamburger.
