This past weekend, Jerod was invited by the folks behind The Captain Morgan BracketMaster Challenge Presented by Spike.com to help promote the event and, oh yeah, take in a Lakers/Mavericks game. Despite the fact that MSF’s official Morganette, Erica, didn’t advance, that sure isn’t a bad consolation prize.
The BracketMaster Challenge, as of yesterday, has announced the Morganettes who will be participating in the Elite Eight round. Voting is live and will open through Saturday, March 26, so be sure to continue voting while you’re supposed to be working and are taking a break from refreshing March Madness updates.
As for our Morganette, Erica, the BracketMaster Challenge will be featuring a consolation bracket where we here at MSF will be aligning ourselves with one of the remaining Morganettes in the West region. Since we would rather say we lost to the eventual champion, MSF is now aligned with Morganette Yeni, who defeated us in the first round, so yeah, go ahead and vote for Yeni now. We won’t be mad. Promise.
