March Madness 2011 Daily Viewing Schedule & Links Sarah Chalke Would Love

It’s morning. While you get out your favorite coffee mug, pour a glass of orange juice, and make sure you have enough milk for your bowl of cereal, get yourself back up to date with the happenings in, or at least somewhat near, the sporting universe.

The following are links that we’re certain Sarah Chalke would love.

– We’re getting into Championship Week now, so each day we’ll start the links with a look at the games that will affect the NCAA Tournament, as Selection Sunday for March Madness continues to close in (View all of our March Madness 2011 coverage here).

Here are the important games for Tuesday:

  • The Horizon League punches its automatic ticket tonight as Milwaukee tries to defeat Butler for the third time this season. Milwaukee gets this game at home, while Butler gets to be the underdog. Everyone’s happy.
  • The Summit League Conference tournament will end with a showdown between Oral Roberts and Oakland. I could be talked out of the word “showdown” here.
  • The Sun Belt Conference Tournament championship pits Arkansas-Little Rock versus North Texas. Sounds like a high school football game with way too much meaning, both on and off the field, of course.
  • The Big Sky Conference Tournament Semifinals are tonight, with Northern Arizona and Northern Colorado on one side and Weber St. and Montana on the other. Seems like Montana would have some advantage playing in the Big Sky Conference.
  • Also, the MAC, Atlantic-1o and Big East tournaments get going today. In Madison Square Garden, DePaul and Connecticut start things off, there’s a couple games in-between, and Providence/Marquette play the final game of the night.

– Here are the conference tournament auto bids from last night.

And an updated bubble report from SI’s Andy Glockner.

– Hooray! Our next NCAA football coaching scandal thing! I can’t even read half of the headline without getting tired of the story.

These labor talks seem quite laborious, no?

– Hopefully everyone has settled down a little in regards to basketball players “crying” in the locker room. Or maybe Dwyane Wade and LeBron James are “the most expensive pair of chokers in sports history.” Yup, that’s probably it, guy. Goodness gracious, people.

– Kevin Love has 51-straight freaking double-doubles, and, I just have to say, Mr. Love, that I can understand if you’re not exactly enjoying it, but us out in the NBA universe sure are. So thank you for that.

If the Big East Tournament is starting, the slow, month-or-so-long decline of productivity in America begins today. Excellent.
