If you are a sports fan, you have undoubtedly heard the saying “white men can’t jump.” It’s far more than just a classic basketball movie starring Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes; it’s a sports adage seemingly as old and accepted as “defense wins championships.”
But as he has proven himself wont to do, Jimmer Fredette is one white boy who can get up in the air…while doing what it is that white boys are supposed to do: shoot.
Or at least it sure as heck looks like it in this spectacular photo from this year’s NCAA Tournament.

Seriously, even some of Fredette’s apparent height in the air is due to the angle of the shot, that is absolutely incredible lift on a jumpshot. I knew he got up on his shot, but that is pretty remarkable.

Thanks for sharing this! I shared it as well here: http://www.getjimmered.com/jimmer-fredette-lights… along with a video highlight real of Jimmer!
Great photo!!! I have some nice ones of Miami Bech on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/pages/I-love-Miami/144180… I hope you like them
Went to high school with him and watched him score more points than entire teams.
When looking at his left foot compared to the court, would you say Jimmer's feet are about as high as knee level on a typical defender? I'm a little surprised that anyone would consider this a remarkable leap–doubt it would be consider so remarkable if this was of anyone except Jimmer.
Regardless of if he jumping significantly high or not, what's most impressive is that he is jumping this high on a jumpshot – most player nowadays dont shoot with such elevation. Props to Fredette for amazing form
