Video: How hard is to spell Troy Polamalu’s phonetically perfect last name? Apparently very hard.

Want to feel just a tad bit better about yourself? Then watch the video below.

In yet another installment of our YardBarker at Super Bowl XLV series, Alana G and the gang issue the following challenge to a bunch of athletes and celebs: spell Polamalu.

Now, you might think, like I did, that anyone with half a brain could simply sound it out and come up with P-O-L-A-M-A-L-U. But you’d be wrong.

Oh, and Vincent Chase and Drama from Entourage are apparently dumber in real life than I imagined they’d be.

———-

For the record, all of these celebs and athletes, with their gargantuan bank accounts and catalog wardrobes, were out at fun parties during Super Bowl week. Me? I was here typing out snarky comments on a mid-tier sports blog. So even if I’d beat them in a spelling bee, something tells me they won’t lose sleep over my turdly condescension.

When reached for comment, the only response Troy Polamalu had was this:

how do you spell polamalu

And that’s all. Carry on.
