It’s morning. While you get out your favorite coffee mug, pour a glass of orange juice, and make sure you have enough milk for your bowl of cereal, get yourself back up to date with the happenings in, or at least somewhat near, the sporting universe.
The following are links that we’re certain Rihanna would love.

– Following a 20-3 Celtic run to start the second half, the Miami Heat chipped away to make this one close in the end, but Mike Miller’s potential game-tying clank from the top of the key dropped the Heat to 0-3 on the season against the Celtics.
What does it mean? For now, it just means the Celtics have beaten the Heat three times. As Tom Ziller points out, two of the contests between these teams have gone right down to the end. Sure, trends have developed (Kevin Garnett = Problem, Dwyane Wade’s play = Also a problem), but it’s Boston’s grueling consistency for 48 minutes that has given them the edge.
Miami, for all of their spurts and freebase athleticism, still get caught doing too much nothing for portions of games. Sometimes their inefficiencies can be made up for in sheer volumes of awesome, but against an obviously focused, established team like the Celtics, who want nothing more than to keep the Heat wondering where they stand, it’s the little details that matter all the more.
– In a recent Finals rematch, the Magic played the D, Dwight Howard played on a level higher than any big in a Laker uniform, and Orlando notched an impressive home win over the defending champs. A truly terrible offensive day for the Lakers, who are probably glad this version of Howard wasn’t around in June of 2009.
– After snapping that pesky ol’ 26-game losing streak, the Cleveland Cavaliers this time passed to the Wizards a rare taste of sweet road victory, as Washington earned their first win outside of the nation’s capital in 26 tries. It’s people helping people, really, and just think: this game could’ve been worse. Silver lining!
– DeMarcus Cousins will be sitting the next few plays out.
– Another golf tournament goes by without Tiger Woods in the running. See also: tree in the forest.
– It just seems like boycotting the NFL combine wouldn’t help much.
– The Buckeyes’ loss to Wisconsin on Saturday is A) not going to ruin their season and B) not really all that shocking considering the game was played in Madison.
– Lastly, with the Albert Pujols contract deadline approaching, at least the Cardinals and their fans can take solace in the fact that when it passes, the distractions will be instantly gone forever. They’ll completely vanish, not another word of them. Nope, shouldn’t be an issue at all once that deadline passes.
Yeah, yeah, Monday.
