Update:
San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis, who has been nursing an injured ankle, was limited in practice Friday and is listed as questionable to play against the Denver Broncos in London Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Davis was projected to be one of the top three tight ends in the game this year and has lived up to the potential. Davis presence not only opens up the running game, but also gives second year wideout Micheal Crabtree more room on the outside. If Davis is healthy enough to start he is a must start every week.

Troy to Smith to get the Start

Update:
49ers head coach Mike Singletary has decided to use Troy Smith as his QB in place of Alex Smith on Sunday in London.
Fantasy Impact:
The Niners will start Troy Smith instead of QB David Carr against the Broncos Sunday, mainly because he brings another option to the game. Smith can scramble for extra yards which could prove to be nesscary with a hurting offensive line. Don’t be surprised if Troy Smith has a good day that he could be the starter for more weeks to come.
Favre questionable, will start

Update:
According to a Minnesota Vikings insider, Brett Favre (ankle) will start, but the QB is a game-time decision.
Fantasy Impact:
Favre will likely continue his consecutive game streak this week but the injuries will be lingering throughout the season. It almost seems that with the Vikings at 2-4 record wise, and all the injuries that Favre has endured. He just may have played one year too long.
Rice begins to run

Update:
Sidney Rice (hip) is starting to run but hasn’t done football drills yet for the Minnesota Vikings. The deadline for his return is Dec. 5
Fantasy Impact:
I f Rice can not return by Dec. 5, it looks like his season will be over. On the other hand, if the Vikings are so far out of contention by that point, bringing Rice back will probably not happen. Rice was a huge receiving option last year for Favre and company, he has missed all season after getting hip surgery in the preseason.
Alexander out 2-4 weeks

Update:
Danario Alexander likely out for two to four weeks.
Fantasy Update:
It is dangerous to be a Rams receiver these days. Mark Clayton was having a top five fantasy year until he went down with an injury, then, Alexender has a strong couple weeks and now he is on the mend for 2-4 weeks. If any receiver has any fantasy value, it would be Danny Amendola, that is unless he goes down this week.

Okung likely Out

Update: Russell Okung (high ankle sprain) is questionable for Sunday against the Raiders, according to the Seattle Times. Fantasy Update: It is highly unlikely that Okung will play after only a week removed from a high ankle sprain. The Seahawks top pick in 2010 would allow more running room for newly acquired RB Marshawn Lynch, but the only way Okung plays is if he is 100 percent healthy.

Gradkowski to be Number 2

Update:
Bruce Gradkowski’s shoulder has improved to the point that he may be able to back-up Jason Campbell this weekend, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
Fantasy Update:
Gradkowski will not be starting this weekends game against the Seahawks, but he may be able to back up Campbell. Campbell had a solid outing last weekend and got the victory, largely because of Darren McFadden. Gradkowski should be named the starter as soon as he is healthy enough to start, unless Campbell can put up huge numbers in Seattle this weekend.
Mathews to get more workload

Update:
According to ESPN Insider, Rookie RB Ryan Mathews might start getting more carries this season.
Fantasy Update:
This is fantastic news for fantasy owners that drafted the young RB in the early rounds on draft day. This is terrible news for owners of Mike Tolbert. Mathews was a first round pick in 2010 and should be the one getting the bulk of the workload. He is back to 100 percent and should a lot of carries this weekend against the Titans.

Young to Start for Titans

Update:
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Vince Young will start this weekend against the Chargers.
Fantasy Impact:
Young has struggled at times this season throwing the ball but Kerry Collins looked pretty good on Sunday. He also just threw the ball within ten feet of Kenny Britt and it was caught for a touchdown, but that’s besides the point. If Young has a rough outing, don think Coach Jeff Fisher will have a tough decision pulling him for the veteran against San Diego.
Williams a game time decision

Update:
Carolina Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams (foot) will be a game-time decision for the team’s Week 8 game, according to Steve Reed, of CarolinaGrowl.com.
Fantasy Update:
DeAngelo Williams is a game time decision that should be benched in fantasy terms no matter what this week. Williams will not be 100% even if he does go, so back-up RB Jonathan Stewart will see more carries no matter what. Williams is a must sit this week but if he does not go at all, Stewart could have a big week.

Palmer will Play

Update:
Cincinnati Bengals QB Carson Palmer (hip) said he will play in the team’s Week 8 game, according to Joe Reedy, of The Cincinnati Enquirer.
Fantasy Update:
Carson Palmer looks like he means business when he says hell be ready to play this Sunday. The Bengals have been fairly disappointing this season with there 2-4 record, and Palmer knows that when he plays well the team plays well. The Bengals take on Miami this week in a game that could be high scoring or might be low scoring. Either way Palmer should be a decent start this week against the Dolphins.
