Update: ESPN is reporting that Green Bay Packers RB Ryan Grant will miss the remainder of the 2010 season with severe leg and ankle injuries suffered on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. He will be placed on injured reserve.
Fantasy Update: This is a huge blow to fantasy owners who will surely be scrambling for someone to replace Grant. They won't have to look very hard to find RB Brandon Jackson who will be carrying the majority of the load for the Packers now that Grant is gone. Jackson had 18 carries for 63 yards after replacing Grant on Sunday. Head Coach Mike McCarthy said that there was evidence that Jackson could play on all three downs, which means big numbers in an explosive Packers offense.
