7/1/10
- According to numerous reports, the Hawks have offered Joe Johnson a 6-year/$119 million dollar deal. Sources expect the All-Star guard to sign soon
- The Nets are expected to meet with LeBron today in Northeast Ohio (in Maverick Carter’s offices), as Prokhorov and Jay-Z begin to sell their global marketing pitch to James.
- Reports say LeBron James has made a deadline to make a decision, which will be Monday, July 5th.
- Drew Gooden agrees to 5 year/$32 million dollar deal with the Milwaukee Bucks.
- The Knicks have confirmed via Twitter, that they will be meeting with LeBron James this afternoon, and then Joe Johnson and (recent hot topic) Mike Miller tonight.
- The Nets finish talks with LeBron confidently, and the Knicks immediately begin talks with LeBron minutes after.
- The Timberwolves and Darko Milicic agree to a 4-year/$20M dollar deal, which means there is a good chance Al Jefferson is on the trade block.
- Rudy Gay has accepted a max-contract offer from the Memphis Grizzlies (5-years/$80M dollars).
- The Orlando Magic are looking for a trading partner, in a Sign & Trade of Vince Carter.
- Channing Frye is considering the Suns 5-year/$25M dollar deal, but is waiting for bigger pieces to fall.
- The Milwaukee Bucks are supposedly close to re-signing John Salmons.
- According to Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski, Richard Jefferson, whom opted out from the Spurs, would like to return to the NY Metropolitan area.
- Channing Frye agrees to 5-year/$30M dollar deal with the Suns.
- The Raptors and Amir Johnson reach a 5-year/$34M dollar deal.
- Joe Johnson is expected to take Hawks offer, and sources claim he is not entertained by the Knicks offer.

- Paul Pierce and the Celtics agree to a deal worth 4-years/$61M dollars.
- Sources say Amar’e Stoudemire should be off the market soon, and FOXsports.com insists the offer that has been made is a “hard-to-turn-down” offer, and should beat the Suns offer.
- The Rockets are reportedly offering Luis Scola, Trevor Ariza and Shane Battier in a potential Sign & Trade for Chris Bosh or Amar’e Stoudemire.
- The Knicks have not yet made an offer for Amar’e.
- The Raptors have shown interest in David Lee.
- Reports say the Celtics have shown interest in Brendan Haywood.
- The Lakers reportedly have interest in Tony Allen.
- Reports claim that Amar’e was offered a (most likely) final offer from Phoenix, and it was rejected. The Knicks to offer max?
- The Suns sign Hakim Warrick to a 4-year/$18M dollar contract.
- Boston Celtics sign 19th overall pick, Avery Bradley. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
- Ex-Knicks and Blazers point-guard Sergio Rodriguez has signed a deal with Real Madrid, that runs through the 12-13 season.
- Sources say that Dirk Nowitzki has been offered a deal by Dallas, for 4-years/$96M dollars.
- Mike Miller has been a trending topic as of late, and is wanted by the Lakers, Cavs, Celtics, and a few others.
- Lakers are denying the reports that claim they offered Mike Miller a deal.
- The Milwaukee Bucks have had a verbal commitment from John Salmons, that he’ll sign with the club for 5-years/$39M dollars.
- The Knicks are nearing a big splash, as sources indicate that Amar’e and New York are very close to finalizing a 5-year/$100M dollar offer.
- Lakers sign guard Steve Blake to a 4-year/$16M dollar deal. This shows that they expect to lose guard Jordan Farmar.
- According to sources, LeBron and Wade DO want to play together, but LeBron does not want to commit to the Heat. The Bulls want a commitment from Wade before LeBron’s meeting with Chicago.

- Joe Johnson is said to be hesitating to accept the max-contract offer, simply because he wants to see where the bigger pieces fall. He has interest in the Bulls and Knicks as well.
- Derek Fisher is drawing interest from numerous teams, the Cavs and Heat are included.
- According to sources, Dwyane Wade won’t make a commitment this weekend.
- Dwyane Wade, was said to have joined Bosh yesterday, in Bosh’s meeting with the Bulls.
- The Suns are looking at players like Kirilenko, Turkoglu and Scola, to replace Amar’e.
- The Pacers are looking to sign a PG, and to a 1-year deal, due to the need of more flexibility. Names like Jordan Farmar, have been brought up.
- The Dallas Mavericks are looking to re-sign Brendan Haywood.
- The Celtics and Paul Pierce, seem to have stalled talks on a re-signing. Sources say, the 4th and final year on the contract is causing issues.
- Sources claim, that Tony Parker has been longing to pair up with Amar’e, and also longed to play in New York. Possible duo?
- Roger Mason has been drawing interest from the Clippers, Rockets and a few others.
- According to sources, the Raptors are beginning to lose interest in Sign & Trades. They have received offers from the Cavaliers, Rockets, Knicks.
- The Dallas Mavericks and Dirk Nowitzki agree to a 4-year/$80M dollar deal (what a surprise).
- The Knicks are now pressing hard on Joe Johnson, sources say.
- The Bulls plan was to get Wade by tonight, and then lure LeBron in by tomorrow.

- Reports say that Rasheed Wallace is now re-thinking his decision on retiring, mostly because Doc Rivers and Paul Pierce are returning.
- After the Clippers met with LeBron on Thursday, they met with Mike Miller for 3 hours+.
- According to sources, Joe Johnson is expected to make a decision within 24 hours, and barring a major change, he’s staying in Atlanta, with the 6-year/$120M dollar deal.
- Despite reports of the Raptors not wanting to do  a Sign & Trade, sources still say they are open to the idea, and teams like Houston, LA, Dallas, and others are still pursuing.
- According to Amar’e himself, Carmelo and Tony Parker would like to join him in New York, to play for the Knicks.
- ESPN’s Rich Bucher reports that Amar’e has fallen out of Miami’s plans.
- Four NBA team executives, say that the hiring of Byron Scott for Cavs, will give LeBron 3 more years with Cavs.
- Paul Pierce and the Celtics have fully agreed, and finalized the 4-year/$61M dollar deal.
- Blazers are showing interest in guard Chris Quinn, and forward Louis Amundson. Also some interest in guard Roger Mason.
- Sources say Blazers are moving slowing with free-agency, and this could signal that the team has a big trade in the works.
- According to sources, the Lakers are beginning talks with Derek Fisher.
- The Knicks are said to have interest in guard Raymond Felton.
- There has been talks of a major 3-way trade, with the Knicks, Warriors and T-Wolves. Sources say Ellis, Al Jefferson and David Lee would be involved.
- The Celtics are reportedly showing strong interest in Blazers guard Rudy Fernandez, and Suns guard Leandro Barbosa. Sources say that Rasheed’s expiring contract, is very attractive. A new international theme in Boston?
- It is now official; Joe Johnson and the Hawks have agreed to a 6-year/$119M dollar deal, with a no-trade clause.
- Brendan Haywood is said to be in serious talks with the Detroit Pistons
- Dwyane Wade to the Knicks: “Get me another player, and I’ll get you a ring”. Powerful words? That’s an understatement.
- LeBron’s announcement won’t come before Wednesday night.
- Word has it, that the Knicks and Raptors could contemplate a Sign & Trade with Bosh and David Lee, making it a swap.
- The Warriors are uninterested with Al Jefferson, sources say.
- The Knicks met with LeBron’s officials Saturday, but just to clear a few issues up.

- The Bulls are confident with their chances of signing Dwyane Wade.
- A reason why Wade could sign with Chicago, is to be closer to his children and closer to his hometown.
- The Nets have expressed interest in forward David Lee.
- According to sources, the Mavericks are still hoping to meet with LeBron.
- Cleveland execs. say that they feel Cleveland is the front-runner, with Chicago trailing.
- Al Horford is not sure about his future with the Hawks, as they have signed Johnson to the huge deal, and are supposedly looking for a center.
- The Raptors are believed to have interest in ex-Minnesota forward Ryan Gomes.
- According to ESPN’s J.A. Adande, Amar’e is on his way to a Knicks meeting, and is about to lock the deal down.
- Celtics sign center, Semih Erden from Turkey. Boston drafted the 7-footer in 2008, and terms of the deal were disclosed.
- The Lakers want Derek Fisher to take a paycut.
- The Celtics are very optimistic, that Ray Allen will return to team.
- According to sources, the Nuggets will not trade Carmelo Anthony, regardless of the circumstances.
- Sources say that Amar’e has now agreed to the 5-year/$100M dollar contract, from the Knicks.
- The Hawks seem to be attempting a strong run next year, as they have reportedly offered Shaq a 2-year deal.

- According to Shaq’s agent, the Hawks have not made any offer. The Celtics, Mavericks and Hawks do seem to have interest though.
- Shooting guard Mike Miller, will workout with LeBron and Chris Paul, at LeBron’s Nike Basketball camp. According to Brian Windhorst, the Cavs intend to pursue Miller if LeBron re-signs.
- The Cavs and Suns seem to be in trade talks, and the scenario is Delonte West and Jamario Moon, for Leandro Barbosa. Delonte’s contract would be bought out, and Jamario Moon’s contract expires next year, so the move for Phoenix would save a lot of cap space.
- Nets owner  Porkhorov is convinced that Wade and Bosh will join in Miami, but thinks that if LeBron were to join, he’d win 3 titles, but would lose the LeBron brand, due to the star-power in Miami.
- The Knicks are pushing for Dwyane Wade to join Ama’re in New York.
- William Wesley, who was forced out of LeBron’s inner circle, was pushing very hard for Chicago.
- The Raptors have stated, that they are open to a Sign & Trade, but it has to make sense for Toronto as well.
- Guard Chris Duhon agrees to a 4-year/$15M dollar deal, with the Orlando Magic.
- The Suns are claiming that they want to make a Sign & Trade happen with the Knicks, for Amar’e. Didn’t he officially sign?
- Carmelo Anthony is expected to sign a contract extension.
- According to Brian Windhorst, LeBron’s people are indicating he is still undecided, but they claim that the longer he takes, the more likely he ends up in Cleveland.

- Chris Bosh has made it clear to numerous sources, that he does not want to play in Cleveland.
- The Cavs feel very strongly, that LeBron will re-sign with Cleveland, and sources indicate it would be a 2-year deal, meaning this will all go down in 2012.

- Bucks concede they’ll lose Luke Ridnour.
- The Mavericks are said to have more interest in Jermaine O’neal, rather than Shaquille.
- Raja Bell, and the Mavericks have mutual interest.
- The Celtics are reportedly talking with Rasual Butler, and Antoine Wright.
- The Suns are interested in David Lee.
- LeBron James’ plans for the ESPN announcement, were in the works for month, according to Brian Windhorst of the Plain Dealer.
- ESPN’s Chris Broussard, reports that Wade and Bosh will play together in Miami.
- Kevin Durant tweets, that he and the Thunder have agreed to a 5-year contract extension.
- The Cavs, Bulls and Nets are going after Boozer, and hard, in order to obtain LeBron.

- Numerous reports (Newsday and ESPN) claim that LeBron James has decided to sign with the Miami Heat. While reports say this, ESPN’s Chris Broussard, states that the LeBron has plenty of time to change his mind on the decision.
- Other sources, like the Cleveland Plain Dealer, whom have covered LeBron for years, say that they have not received confirmation on any of this info.
- LeBron’s friends and relatives are divided on the rumored decision. Chris Paul, LeBron’s close friend, has been pushing LeBron to stay in Cleveland, and wants him to stay and play for coach Byron Scott.
- The Nets to target Kyle Korver, Tyrus Thomas and Travis Outlaw.
- The Bulls are left with Redick and Korver as targets.
- Luke Ridnour visits with Minnesota T-Wolves on Wednesday.
- LeBron’s reps called free-agents, about his interest in Miami, and suggested to the Heat that they make certain moves to accommodate LeBron.
