Well people, being a big NBA guy, and following the sport for some time now, I can point out the big stories.
Whether ir’s Ron Artest going at it in Detroit, or Kobe Bryant changing his jersey number, or Shaq claiming who the true “Superman” is, and on and on.
So when I tell you that the NBA’s 2010 free-agent class is huge, it’s huge!
You know this, you watch ESPN, you have a Twitter, you read blogs. Let’s face it, this topic has been thrown in our face about 109,239,300 times. Correct? And not only that, LeBron’s chances at leaving Cleveland have greatly increased with the Semi’s loss to the Celtics, right?
So this isn’t a typical “Where is LeBron going?” article, this has a twist.
Ladies and gents, here is a list that dreamers, consumers, and fans have either made up, or brought on some facts to prove where LeBron James is going to play in ’10.
I present to you..
The 2010 LeBron James Sweepstakes
- Cleveland Cavaliers - Okay people. From a smart person’s standpoint, this is the most reasonable destination. But don’t let me ruin the fun for you. Keep reading below!
- New York Knicks – Well, this is by far the most annoying one. I hear it left, I hear it right. Every little thing LeBron does that resembles the colors orange, blue or white, must mean he is headed to the Knicks, right..OMG! LeBron’s wearing orange shoes!
- The New Jersey Nets – H-H-H-Hovaaaa!!! Cmon, who doesn’t like to be playing with their (extremely) close best friend? Seriously? LeBron+Jay-Z can only mean money, fame, money, popularity, and oh yeah, money.
- Miami Heat – Scottie & MJ = Wade and LeBron? Maybe. But this one seems to be very, very stretched. Folks, I wouldn’t put my money on it, but hey, you can dream, right? Just watch this if you are salivating at the thought of this.
- Chicago Bulls - This one seems to have some juice to it. Why would LeBron be changing his jersey number? To make more sales? To honor a tribute to MJ? Nah. To come to the Bulls? Ohhh yeeeaaahhh!
- Cleveland Browns – Click here
Oh, sorry. It aint gonna happen.
- Los Angeles Lakers – Kobe and LeBron? Sounds good. Actually, sounds great! Can you say, Team USA? But yeah, two words as to why this won’t happen. David. Stern.
- Los Angeles Clippers – Since the Clippers fired GM Mike Dunleavy, Twitterland has been buzzing about how the Clippers are doing this in an attempt to land James. HAH!
- Philadelphia 76ers – According to commenter J.Smutts, this would be a decent scenario simply because Larry Brown might be the head coach, whom has connections, and PHI $ situation makes it enticing as well.
