[Editor's Note: Throughout the day I participate in email conversations with friends about hot sports topics. One of my friends in particular is very active in these conversations. This is that friend.
For the record, he is an Indiana native who grew up in the Northwest part of the state and roots for the Bears. This post will shed some insight into why he did not choose the Colts.]

I hate the f–king colts.
I hate them because they’re good.
I hate them because they play in a dome yet reside in the MIDWEST, defying how football was intended to be played!!!
I hate them because they’re the Indianapolis colts and not the Indiana colts.
I hate the Colts because the state claims four and potentially five teams (NW Indiana = Bears, NE splits Lions and Browns, SE = Bengals, and Central/South = Colts).
I hate them because they nearly moved four years ago because nobody would go to a game and the
owner had to cover the ticket costs to avoid local blackouts DESPITEÂ having the best QB in history.
I hate the Colts because they could NOT survive on their own merit without the NFL’s redistribution of
revenues.
I hate the Colts because they’re an unrecognized BASTARDÂ FRANCHISE belonging in Baltimore, which would place the current Ravens back in Cleveland (a city deserving and actually containing genuine and
passionate football fans).
I hate Indianapolis because they cannot afford a baseball team, yet have a dynasty football program.
Finally, I hate colts fans because they fail to realize how lucky they are to not only have Peyton, but actually being fortunate selecting him as opposed to Leaf.
Therefore, despite the Aint’s having Hoosier karma (Tracy Porter and Courtney Roby), Indy will probably win by 7 TDs, conservatively.
I wish Peyton would get his 5 Super Bowl rings over with already…

Who is Wendell Willkie? Wouldn’t you like to know.
The pseudonym was inspired by the very Wendell Willkie who is an Indiana University legend and democrat turncoat who ran for president against FDR in 1940; however, the man behind the pseuodonym shall otherwise remain nameless.

So go, converse. WW will undoubtedly be back soon with more email ramblings…
