Update: Dave Hutchinson of The Star Ledger reports that New York Jets' CB Lito Sheppard may not return next season as the Jets' top priority is to upgrade the team's secondary this off-season. Jets don't plan to pick up his $10 million dollar roster bonus in March and he is unlikely he will return.
Fantasy Impact: Sheppard, a former two-time Pro Bowler with the Eagles, battled injuries all season and was benched for the Jets’ 30-17 loss to the Colts on Sunday in the AFC Championship Game. Sheppard only had one interception in the last 11 games this season.
