Update: Dave Hutchinson of The Star Ledger reports that New York Jets' CB Lito Sheppard may not return next season as the Jets' top priority is to upgrade the team's secondary this off-season. Jets don't plan to pick up his $10 million dollar roster bonus in March and he is unlikely he will return.
Fantasy Impact: Sheppard, a former two-time Pro Bowler with the Eagles, battled injuries all season and was benched for the Jets’ 30-17 loss to the Colts on Sunday in the AFC Championship Game. Sheppard only had one interception in the last 11 games this season.

Update: The New York Post reports New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan said WR Braylon Edwards, who will be a restricted free agent, will be back with the team next season. Ryan said the team plans to tender a contract that would give the team a first-round and third-round draft choice if a team signs Edwards and the Jets do not match the offer.
Fantasy Impact: Braylon had some excellent games with the club while also struggling with dropped passes. With some more consistency he could develop into a great weapon for the team, especially opposite WR Jerricho Cotchery.

Update: Adam Rank, of NFL.com, reports San Diego Chargers RB LaDainian Tomlinson said during a radio interview that he was not happy with his role this season and believes the Chargers relied more on the passing game than the running game like they have done in previous years. "I wasn't happy. No one is going to be happy with the least amount of touches in my career. I don't know any running back that would be happy with that. Absolutely I wasn't happy with not touching the ball as much as I thought I would," Tomlinson said.
Fantasy Impact: It seems likely that LT may end up playing for another club as signs point to the Chargers keeping LT in a smaller role and possibly even asking him for a decreased pay.

2010 Pro Bowl Preview: Spread, Pick, TV Info, Tickets & Updated Rosters

So, who actually wants to play in the 2010 Pro Bowl?
I was actually contacted yesterday by the NFL office to fill in as a QB for the AFC squad, where none of the QBs originally named to the team are actually going to participate. Since I played QB my freshman year of hig school, the NFL apparently figured that I’d be better than alternatives like Derek Anderson or JaMarcus Russell.
Don’t scoff…if David Garrard (yes, he of the 15:10 TD:INT ratio) is playing in the Pro Bowl, we weren’t that far off from a second appearance for Derek Anderson. And really, that’s all you need to know: Derek Anderson was once a Pro Bowler.
Moving along…
