Greene Blossoms for Jets

UPDATE: According to Nick Cimini of the New York Daily News, New York Jets RB Thomas Jones' efficiency started to decline four games ago, but it has been more pronounced over the last two – 112 yards on 42 carries, a 2.7 average. The good news for the Jets is that it has created a bigger role for rookie RB Shonn Greene who is running wild with the opportunity.

FANTASY IMPACT: Greene started the second half for Jones in the Jets big Wildcard win over the Cincinnati Bengals Saturday. Greene had 21 carries for 135 yards and one touchdown while Jones had just 15 carries for 34 yards and a touchdown. However, Jets Head Coach Rex Ryan expects Jones to have over 20 carries this week when the Jets face the San Diego Chargers in the AFC divisional round.
