The much anticipated Apple tablet computer, officially called the iPad, was introduced to the world today with as much fanfare and build-up as you can imagine for a product that is essentially an oversized version of what most of us already have (iPhone).
So I guess it is fitting that the first sports figure displayed on the iPad being demo’d by Steve Jobs today was a player who manufactures as much fanfare and build-up as he can before every game.

Now the question becomes, is the iPad as good and as transformative as it’s being cracked up to be? Is it, as some seem to think, better than sliced bread?
