Will Knicks Trade Nate Robinson to Boston?

Recent trades have been sprouting up recently involving names such as Troy Murpy, Anthony Randolph, Monta Ellis, and others.

But most recently, Knicks guard Nate Robinson has stated that he would like to be traded.

According to RealGM.com, the point guard, his agent, and Knicks president Donnie Walsh will be discussing trade possibilities for Robinson.

nate-robinson-tradeNate also told ESPN.com, via the RealGM.com report, that he would like to be traded to the Celtics, if anything. But if not, he would rather be released and signed by a contending team in need of  a spark.

The reason as to why Nate has demanded a move is due to Mike D’antoni’s recent lineup changes, which included Robinson coming off the bench.

According to D’antoni, “I put in the players I feel will give us a chance to win”.

If a trade were to happen, it would only be able to occur after Dec. 24th because Robinson signed a contract extension this past summer.

Robinson is currently averaging 10.9 PPG, 1.8 RPG and 3 APG.

Stay tuned for more.
