Painter might see game action
Update: The Newark Star Ledger is reporting that Colts head coach Jim Caldwell hinted at the fact that backup quarterback Curtis Painter could see game action in Week 16. During a conference call with the New York media on Wednesday, Caldwell said, "Our No. 1 goal is to win," he said. "There may be some time where depending on how the game goes whether or not (backup QB Curtis Painter) plays. We haven't made any declaration on who is playing and how long."
Fantasy Impact: Peyton Manning is going to get the start, but how long he plays remains to be seen. He most likely will see first quarter action and then head to the bench. Fantasy owners should temper their expectations of Manning.
