Update: Jason LaCanfora of NFL.com is reporting that Steelers LB James Harrison will play today against the Ravens. He's been battling a biceps injury.

Fantasy Impact: This is good news for the Steelers who know it is win or watch come play off time.  Harrison will help to try and slow stud running back Ray Rice and the Ravens offense.

Update: Rachel Nichols of ESPN reports, is reporting that Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney (abdomen) will be limited on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: The Colts will be very cautious with any player that has even the slightest injury.  Clint Session is already ruled out, and look for Robert Mathis and Freeney to also see reduced roles on Sunday.

Update: Rachel Nichols of ESPN is reporting that Colts linebacker Clint Session will not play in Week 16.  He had been listed on the injury report s doubtful with a knee injury.

Fantasy Impact: This was no shock as he was on the injury report as doubtful, and the Colts have no reason to press him into action.

Taylor to play against old mates

Email Post Email Post

Update: The Florida Times-Union is reporting that New England Patriots running back Fred Taylor (ankle) will play in Week 16 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Fantasy Impact: Taylor has not played a big role for the Pats this year as he has missed most of the season due to injury.  He will get a shot to play against his old teammates today, but his role will be very limited.  Laurence Maroney is still the main guy in the Pats backfield, but this points to some of his touches being vultured by Taylor.

Bucs interested in Cowher

Update: According to Jason La Canfora of NFL.com, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reached out to Bill Cowher about becoming their head coach.

Fantasy Impact: The Bucs seem torn as to whether or not they give current coach Raheem Morris another shot next season or fire him after just one year at the helm.  Cowher won't comment on any job where there is a current coach in place, but it seems highly unlikely he would go to Tampa when he could probably name his ticket for any of the other jobs that will become open at year's end.

Update: New England Patriots DT, Vince Wilfork (foot) will be a game-time decision on Sunday, according to Jason La Canfora of NFL.com.

Update: Chicago Bears defensive end, Adewale Ogunleye has been placed on injured reserve, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Fantasy Impact: Ogunleye suffered a broken leg which ended his season.  The Bears defense just couldn't stay healthy this season, and is a big reason why they will be watching come playoff time this year.

Niners to give Norris touches

Email Post Email Post

Update: According to the Santa Rosa Press-Democrat, 49ers head coach Mike Singletary said that fullback Moran Norris will likely get some carries in Sunday's game against the Lions.

Fantasy Impact: Norris must be thrilled with the news that Singletary is going to write him into the game plan against the lowly Lions, but the ground game belongs to Frank Gore, and he is the only one worth mentioning in the 49ers backfield.

Robinson to see increased role

Email Post Email Post

Update: According to the Santa Rosa Press-Democrat, 49ers running back Michael Robinson will serve as the No. 2 back behind Frank Gore in Sunday's game against Detroit.

Fantasy Impact: Robinson will fill the role typically played by Glen Coffee who is out with a hamstring injury.  The Lions defense is terrible, so Robinson does have a chance to put up better numbers then normal, but he still is a non factor for fantasy purposes.

Lions sign Patrick Ramsey

Update: The Detroit News is reporting that the Lions have signed quarterback Patrick Ramsey.

Fantasy Impact: Once the team placed Matt Stafford on the IR, it was believed the Lions would be in the market for a QB to backup Drew Stanton and Daunte Culpepper.

Moore listed as questionable

Email Post Email Post

Update: The Carolina Panthers team website is reporting that quarterback Matt Moore is questionable for Sunday against the Giants.  Moore is battling a shoulder injury.

Fantasy Impact: Moore is going to be the quarterback Sunday for sure.  He is looking to string together back to back strong performances after upseting the Vikings in Week 15.  He will face a good Giants defense, but they are a bit banged up and struggle against the pass.

Payne to sit for Bears

Update: The Chicago Tribune is reporting that Bears safety Kevin Payne (ankle) is out for Chicago's Monday night game with the Vikings.

Fantasy Impact: This is bad news for Bears secondary that is going to face Brett Favre and the Vikings who are looking to try and stave off the Eagles for the No. 2 seed in the NFC Playoffs.
