Per two recent tweets by TheOBR, citing a WEWS report that I have heard elsewhere as well, Browns QB Brady Quinn will miss the rest of the season and will be replaced by Derek Anderson.
WEWS is reporting that Brady Quinn will be placed on the IR after an injury suffered in a QB sneak. Anderson will start Sunday.
QUINN OUT FOR SEASON…E Mangini announced that Quinn was placed on IR with a foot injury suffered against the Chiefs–Fred Greetham
Did anyone else even realize that Quinn got hurt on Sunday? I guess I must have missed it in the excitement over Jerome Harrison and Joshua Cribbs.
Luckily, with Oakland on the schedule this Sunday, the Browns shouldn’t have to do too much passing. We saw how that worked out with Anderson as the starter earlier this year.
For the season, Quinn thew 8 TDs and had a QB rating of 67.2.
