    Like the ROYs Monday, the correct choice. Interesting to see skippers of the year tomorrow, then NL Cy, et al. Should be Tracy/Gardenhire, Carpenter, Mauer, Pujols. I bet Tex, since he's a Yankee, takes AL MVP though…

    I should say honorable mention, consider his team was picked for a down season, to Larussa in the NL. And you cannot ignore what Ron Washington did in Texas.

    Many find Scioscia to be the choice in the AL, or 2nd. I disagree. What he did was not much more impressive than what Torre, Manuel, Girardi or Francona did. A bit better showing since he dealt with major pitching injuries in April-May, but Anaheim has immense talent/depth.
