Yahoo Already Knows Packers v Lions Result: Another 26-0 Rout for Green Bay

I got up this morning and went to Yahoo to check my fantasy football rosters and make sure that guys like Greg Jennings were in the lineup.

Well, not only was Jennings in the lineup, but his team’s game later today curiously already had a result.

As you can see in the screen capture, Yahoo already has a 26-0 Packers victory listed in the slot where final scores go after games are completed. Hmm…does Yahoo know something that the rest of us don’t yet?

green bay packers - detroit lionsSadly, probably not.

The Packers spanked the Lions 26-0 earlier this season so I’m guessing there was just some sort of glitch that listed the score for this week as well. When I clicked the on the link it went to Yahoo’s Packers-Lions preview.

Of course, it is the Packers versus the Lions. And despite Detroit’s victory last week and the fact that they are at home today, well, they are the Lions.

So something tells me that you could take Yahoo’s 26-0 listing as a guarantee for what will happen later this afternoon and probably make some money on it. As I said earlier this week in our Thanksgiving football TV schedule post and in our Lions-Packers spread pick and preview, take the Packers and the points.

You’ll get no argument from Yahoo.

This freaked me out as well. I thought it was a sign to bench Kevin Smith!…I'll probably stick with him and pray for a good game since I don't have many other options. I hope the lions can keep it close with Dante starting today, I hate blowouts on Thanksgiving =/
