NFL Betting: Spreads and Picks for Eagles-Bears, Falcons-Giants, Redskins-Cowboys

Earlier this week, our NFL betting picks featured primarily AFC teams. Let’s switch it up and make some football predictions for the NFC to help you prep for the weekend.

Atlanta Falcons @ New York Giants

Sunday, November 22, 1:00 p.m. ET

Sportsbook favorite: Giants -6.5

It’s been a struggle to say the least lately for the Giants, who started 5-0 only to lose four straight games, but the conditions are perfect for a turnaround game. We know Atlanta can’t stop the run so Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw should move the chains all day. We also know Matt Ryan hasn’t been himself over the last several weeks. Perhaps because he’s taking too many sacks, he’s appeared shell-shocked, hurrying throws and missing his targets. The Giants have the book on him and will rush him all day; that’s a recipe for another subpar performance from Ryan and a victory for the Giants.

Sports betting pick: Giants -6.5

Washington Redskins @ Dallas Cowboys

Sunday, November 22, 1:00 p.m. ET

Sportsbook favorite: Cowboys -11

The Redskins are No. 1 in the NFL against the pass; too bad they do nothing else well on a football field. If they shut down Tony Romo, the Cowboys can hand the rock to Marion Barber, who could have his best game in a while against a Redskins “D” allowing 125 rushing yards per game. If they can get ahead, the Cowboys could close this game out quickly, forcing the Redskins to pass. It’s hard to have confidence in Jason Campbell’s ability to keep his team in the game.

Sports betting pick: Cowboys -11

Philadelphia Eagles @ Chicago Bears

Sunday, November 22, 8:20 p.m. ET

Sportsbook favorite: Eagles -3

If you think Sunday is the Bears’ redemption game in their return home, think again. The Eagles are simply a brutal matchup for the struggling Jay Cutler. He’s getting no help from his offensive line but he’s also forcing balls into traffic. As a result, he leads the NFL with 17 interceptions. Facing a Philly team ranking second in the league in sacks and third in picks, the Bears may implode again. It’s also worth noting the Chicago defense can get beaten deep in the passing game. Can you say DeSean Jackson?

Sports betting pick: Eagles -3
