The Pistons have the talent to win 40+ games this season.

They evened their record at 4-4 tonight. Charlie Villanueva has been finding his groove and giving the Piston frontcourt a boost.

Coach Kuester is working wonders with a group of guys who have never played together before. Don't be so quick to write off the hated Pistons. =)

I enjoyed reading your article.
i agree with all the reviews you made on the teams.
love how you put your personality into what you have to say.
I found myself laughing as i read your article, for example when you mentioned the Mavs : "The one negative about this past week for the Mavs was that they lost to the Hornets. Eww. The Hornets?" hahaha lmao
Good to see your sense of humor, keep up the good work
Cant wait to read your next ranking.

That is absolutely right Boris. The cavs have definitely felt the impact
Jon Kuester's absence. Unfortunatley, Shaq is showing us a lot of his weaknesses.
Cleveland needs to get it going, now!
The Pistons are playing very well, especially without Rip and Tayshaun...doesn't mean that they
will a lot of game...give em a couple of years.

Part 2

IMHO, Cleveland has been seriously hurt by the loss of Coach Kuester to Detroit. Shaq was never able to defend the pick and roll, even in his prime. It'll be interesting to see what Coach Brown does to get the team on the same page.

Detroit's doing well under Coach Kuester considering this is the first season for this new team and they're missing Hamilton and Prince. Gordon is the team's leading scorer, but the Pistons' offense isn't directed solely through him, so he won't average 30+ points. The rookies have been doing great when thrust into the rotation. Nothing's set in stone, but the new Detroit team has growth potential.

Part 1

Boston is indeed playing hard and has the best record at the moment to show for its effort. The Celts' Big Three and Rasheed Wallace have been showing signs of fatigue, though. As the season goes on, I don't see how they'll stay fresh and injury free considering their age.

LA's doing well. Have to give them credit for carrying on without Bynum and Gasol. I'll be curious to see what happens when they face better teams and how long it takes for those two to come back.

Orlando's short-handed. When they have all hands on deck, the East will have to watch out, IMHO.
