I have never celebrated Brady's injury. I have never hoped for any professional to become injured, and I have never hinged an argument on the Patriots with cheating. That being said:

I gave the Pats respect this week. They jumped 7 spots in my rankings. It doesn't mean I hate them any less. But I did give them credit where it is due.

Thems are fighting words, but diplomacy will prevail here. KVB, it seems the mistake you have made is stereo-typing. I'm disappointed in you. I expected more :-D

1) When I said heavily favored, I was not speaking of the line, I was speaking of what all of the "experts" were saying. I should have made that more evident

2) I meant to report that the Saints next game was against the Giants, and not next week, point well taken.
3) The Saints are my second favorite team, only to the Colts. Whether the G-men are 5-0 when they play or not, there is no doubt that game may be an early determination of #1 in the NFC. It will definately be interesting.

I basically will echo Jerod's statement on the Broncos. If you read last week's rankings I called Denver a pretender and was quite harsh to them…However they impressed me very much this week on both sides of the ball.

They may not stay there for long, but I believe they belong there to this point in the season.

As far as Houston. I see alot of potential in this team, and I see a great QB a Freak at WR, and a beast of a RB waking up. The defense isn't too bad either. Give them a chance, I think they may surprise you.

I'll speak on Big MB's behalf and thank you for you for your honest reply. Strong opinions are the best kind!

That said, while I disagree with some of MB's choices, I don't think you can fault him for putting Denver in the top 5. Power Rankings should be about what you've done to that point in the season, and regardless of where you think Denver will end up, this is a 4-0 team. I badmouthed them before last week, but that was a solid win over Dallas. In the end, we'll know everything we need to know about Denver after this weekend when they play New England. For now, I think they are deserving of a high spot.
