White Sox Complete Series Sweep of Indians with 6-2 Victory
Kudos for the lovely art work go to KVB, who was so pumped about the White Sox actually completing a sweep (only their second series sweep of the season) that he immediately jumped on Photoshop in the throes of unbridled White Sox optimism and excitement.
And even though the sweep was against the lowly Indians, perhaps the worst team in baseball right now, it was still very important for the White Sox. Tonight’s 6-2 victory put the White Sox two games over .500 for the first time in what seems like forever, and has them only three games back of Detroit in the Central, tied with Minnesota.
I’ll have more on this in the morning (in fact, I’ve already got a draft started) but this picture demanded immediate posting.
Well done White Sox! You can put it on the board…YEEESSS!

Yes it is a team we should beat and we did in that elusive sweeping fashion. Outscoring them 23-9. Back to even on runs scored v. against. Two games above .500. Contreras is now 3-2 with a 2.17 ERA since he got in shape during his month in AAA ball. Gordon Beckham (the savior) is white hot (2-4 today) and up to .278 hitting. It seemed only a week ago he was just getting breaking .200 hitting. Despite Cleveland many positives to take away from this series.
Thanks for posting the pic! lol
