Ben Roethlisberger made his first public comments today regarding the sexual assault allegations that have been brought against him Andrea McNulty. The video is below, courtesy of…ESPN…who refused to cover the story until just yesterday, but now it’s listed first among their headlines on the front page. Just saying.

I think it’s pretty much what everyone expected, although Ben seemed a little more defiant than I expected.  But if he really is innocent (and at this point we have no way of knowing either way) then I would expect a little bit of the anger that his words seemed to be coated with.  Florio, as usual, had an insightful take on the Ben Roethlisberger press conference video over at PFT.
