But it is still a 40 year old arm, riding on 40 year old legs. And while the stories say that he is throwing OK, he is saying that both ankles and one knee are bothering him. As I recall, there was talk after the last season at GB about needing surgery to have bone chips removed from one of the ankles. As good as he was, I'd think as a 40 year old QB coming in cold, not knowing the receivers very well, kind of rusty out of the gate, the odds of success would not be in his favor.
