For The Machine to have 29 bombs already in this day and age of guys being busted for female hormone shots, that is just something. Look at the insipid power numbers all across the board in MLB. Yet he’s still producing steroid era like stats. Go eliminate them Albert! (ESPN commercial.)

That’s because Pujols is not A-rod or Jeter and actually is a family man, as proven by his charitable work and so on. Think a more secular Kurt Warner.

I love Pujols but his wife is surprisingly underwhelming in the looks department. He probably listened to the Jimmy Soul song (“If you want to be happy”) growing up. He should probably trade straight up with Kris Benson. Given Anna’s history (she threatned to bang the entire Mets team a few years back) I’m sure she would approve…

He just continues to put up remarkable stats. It’s incredible to think that we may really be watching one of the five greatest hitters of all-time…and a guy who has a serious chance to go down as THE greatest hitter of all-time. Amazing.

As for the steroid issue, Pujols is one of the guys i think is clean. It wouldn’t totally shock me if something came out (MLB’s fault, not his)…but it would surprise me a little bit. The guy has just been so remarkably consistent in both production and attitude. I hope he breaks every record there is, because you’re right AJ: he is the Great Hope for baseball fans that are frustrated by all of the steroid BS. ARod had that mantle, but never should have.

Albert, I believe anyway, is deserving.
