I haven't looked into Peavy's contract and the chances of the White Sox signing him though. Rumor has it that he's concerned about playing for Ozzie Guillen, but they both seem like intense, fiery guys so I would think they'd relate well. Anyway, I think this would be a great deal and the kind of bold move that Kenny Williams is known more. He's not going to let this season sink into a 2007-like abyss without doing everything he can to pull us out of it. His moves aren't always right, but he's always working angles to make the club better and I like that. BTW...did you see the update I made to the post?
