He was colorful. He will be missed. His book "one knee equals two feet" was one of the first sports books I ever read. With the list of replacements I have seen it should make for an interesting year. Now if we could only help AL Michaels out of the booth.

All I can say is, "BOOM!"

Thanks to Madden for gracing the cover of my had to have game of all time each and every year since 1988. Chris Collinsworth is a horrible replacement and I could think of 10 others I would take this second over him.

1. Bill Cowher
2. Shannon Sharpe
3. Keyshawn Johnson
4. Stewart Scott
5. Phil Simms
6. Matt Millen, even though he can't GM, he is a great announcer
7. Either of the Pardon the Interruption hosts
8. See above
9. Dieon Sanders
10.Jerome Bettis

Runner Up-Bernie Kosar. Yes, Bernie, that is how much I cannot stand listening to Chris Collinsworth! For all you Cleveland fans, you know how horrible Bernie is at announcing! His football IQ is great, but his speech is much to be desired! Regardless, I would rather listen to Bernie mumble than Collinsworth speak!
