@#1hornfan, I really like UConn. I know they lost a really good player, but the combo of Price-Thabeet is still really solid and something that few other teams, if any, can duplicate. As always, if Thabeet gets in foul trouble UConn is vulnerable, but I don’t see A&M as a team good enough to beat them — if A&M can even make it out of the first round.

@JRod, being a longhorn fan I know what inconsistent is all about this year. Despite the big twelve tournament loss, the are the hottest team next to mizzou in the big 12 at the time. How bad do you think uconn is gonna do the aggies?

@#1hornfan, that should be a really good game. Total toss-up. Tennessee is better at their peak, but they are just so maddeningly inconsistent. That’s why I can’t bring myself to pick them, but would not be the least bit surprised to see them win.

Missouri is good this year. I think If they can get by Memphis, UConn will be no problem. I am interested to see how Oky st. is gonna do against the Vols.

Its easy to hate on Texas when the sports programs are so successful. And not just one or two programs, almost all of them. We know the football and basketball programs are good but check the stats on baseball, tennis, and swimming. Non UT fans should find us annoying because there is so much to openly be proud of. Congrats Baylor for your first win against the longhorns in 25 games. I’m sure it will be another 11 years until they get another win.

Well, I guess we have our answer. YES, Kansas and Bill Self did ar-buckle under the pressure, as the Big 12 officially becomes the conference tournament of note so far after Texas Tech’s thrilling comeback last night and Baylor’s upset today.

Wow…great game. Congratulations to Scott Drew and the Bears. Hopefully they can keep it going.
