IF only these people were the worst criminals on the planet. I don't condone cheating. But if there was a drug to get me really young again, I'd take it. I suspect the moral high horse being ridden, is that anabolic steroids are illegal. An excellent reason. However, many things which are legislated have more criminal acts behind them in formulating that law, than we'll ever be allowed to know. Things more sinister and detrimental to our lives than athletes, who are essentially trying to keep a short-lived career.

We all have flaws, but most of us are not ( or no longer ), in the public eye. Call them cheaters. Sure. For better or worse, I call them humans.

@Alex Rodriguez, thanks for the visit. We are always honored to have the subjects of our articles stop by to leave comments.

Now if I may just ask you a questions...what the hell were you thinking? Not only did you ruin one of the last remaining positive aspects about you and your career (being clean), but you didn't even have one of your best seasons. I know you won the MVP, but the stats were not overwhelming or even up to your career standards in 2003.

I realize it was the culture of the league at the time and definitely the culture of the Rangers, and that you had to be feeling pressure from the $250 million contract. But no one, and I repeat no one had more to lose from being associated with steroids than you.

It just does not make sense. But neither does anything in the last 15 years of baseball.

@john, all the credit for the data collection of the list goes to the fine folks over at BaseballsSteroidEra.com. If you aren't completely sick of this story yet and can stomach reading more about it, their site is definitely a great stop.

Thanks for the visit and comment John.
