@David Crawford, I was going too, but they are all on CBS. I just took it for granted that everyone knew that. You can also go to March Madness On Demand and watch the games online if the game you want isn't in your area.

Not really,
Time will show if they deserve #1 seeding or not. The bad news is that none of them wil survive, Mark my words.

@Craig, I think the only reasonable argument I have heard against Louisville is that they did not have to play Pitt or UConn on the road, and did not have to face either in the Big East tournament. Still, they beat two top 15 teams in the tourney and have won 10 games in a row. I would have given you the #1 seed, and I think there is a good chance that six or seven Big East teams would have won the SEC this year.

@Toby, If Louisville played in the SEC they would have the best record. How can you say they shouldn't be number one when they won the Big East regular season and tournament? I guess Carolina should be number one because they... oh wait, they couldn't win their tournament either. Probably should be Memphis because they won both and have a better record although they didn't play anyone.

@ron jones, I have to say that this year I am not opposed to the Big East getting three #1 seeds. The Big East was unbelievable this year and all three of those teams proved deserving throughout the year. The beautiful thing about the tournament is that now they have to prove they were worthy by making the Final Four. So all of the arguing and posturing will mean nothing in a few weeks. Either they will prove the committee right or prove them wrong. But I think that based on the bodies of work of all teams and conferences throughout this year, the Big East deserved to dominate the #1 seeds.

@ron jones, Let me guess... Memphis fan? Memphis couldn't even beat the Orangemen. I'll be glad to see everyone fall but the BEAST! Ha ha ha.

This is further evidence of how pathetic the selection process has become. How in the heck did Minnesota and Wisconsin get in? Illinois as a five seed after losing to Penn State (a non-participant in this year's tourney) three weeks ago 38-33, scoring only four points in the final 10:20 of the game, at home no less?! Purdue is only a five seed after winning their tournament, knocking off Illinois in the Semis. Michigan State is a two seed after losing in the semis of the Big Ten Tournament to Ohio State? Penn State (22-11) finished higher in conference than Wisconsin (19-12), Minnesota (22-10) and Michigan (20-13) and they're the odd team out? Michigan was 9-9 in conference, Penn State 10-8. What is Arizona doing in this tournament? U-of-A stumbled to the finish losing five of their last six games, including losing their only game in the Pac-10 tournament (9-9 conference record, 19-13 overall), the kicker being they are a twelve seed, not a fifteen, not a fourteen, not a thirteen but a twelve. Louisville is the overall number one seed yet doesn't have the best record or highest RPI (#9 last week and #10 the week before). How is Florida (9-7 conference 22-10 overall) not even in this tournament? These particular bracket seedings are the epitome of how brain dead the selection committee of the NCAA Tournament is and hint that the best 65 teams are not what was released today, also how something other than facts and reality are the basis for the seedings and brackets of this year's tournament. I would venture a guess that the officiating of this year's tournament will also leave a lot to be desired. And people say Division One NCAA football needs a playoff? If it resembles these 2009 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament brackets/seedings, I say what's the point?
