Good point, JRod,

And let's not forget Bernie Kosar from Boardman, Ohio, who managed to finagle his place on the Browns (thank goodness), and Brady Quinn, altough a Columbus boy, rooted for the Browns.

I would not mind getting ahold of Ohio State's Terrelle Pryor in a couple of years.

By the way, Bernie Kosar said on his call-in sport on WKNR AM 850 that he told Brady Quinn, that when you are the quarterback of your hometown team, "the fans will never leave you alone."

I had to laugh when Charlie Frye of Akron was sent packing to Seatlle, Wash., I mean, what a culture shock. Akron boy meets Preppy tree huggers and whale lovers.

The AFC North sure does like to keep former MAC QBs close to home:

Byron Leftwich
Big Ben
Bruce Gradkowski
Josh Cribbs

And who can forget Chaz Frye from Akron, before he was jettisoned last year.

Wonder if we'll see Dan LeFevour or Nate Davis in Bengals or Ravens unis in the next few years?
