Trent Dilfer Rips Browns Decision to Go With Brady Quinn

Trent Dilfer Rips Browns For Starting Brady QuinnFormer Browns QB Trent Dilfer, now with ESPN, tells WKNR’s Kenny Roda he “couldn’t disagree more” with the Browns decision to start Brady Quinn on Thursday.

Dilfer said in his opinion, the Cleveland Browns fans base is too powerful and call too many shots. Moves made by the organization to placate fans is never a good idea, he said.

Hey, just because the Columbus, Ohio native is good-looking doesn’t mean he is just another pretty face.

But I am afraid that Quinn will soon know how it felt to be Tim Couch, the Kentucky quarterback who was made starting QB by Top Men who wanted to please fans.

By the way, Couch was the only Browns QB able to beat Pittsburgh since 1999.

Roda also reports that Crennel told reporters earlier today that he had no plans to change quarterbacks, leading more than one reporter to believe the edict came down from above (Savage) to take Browns fans’ minds and comments away from Sunday’s devastating loss.
