Always appreciated. Matt Painter is a hell of a coach, and even as an IU fan I have always given him props. I do think that he and Crean will forge a new IU-Purdue rivalry for the next decade that should be entertaining. Purdue will dominate it over the next two years, but it should be pretty competitive once Crean gets settled in and we move past the destruction of Kelvin Sampson. Tom Crean won't get anybody down there for 2010 or 2011, Matt Painter will clean up the state for 2011. He was able to convince a couple of overrated guards that he'll turn them into the next Dwyane Wade (i.e. somebody who only ended up at Marquette because everyone else was afraid to take a non-qualifier). That 5 guard lineup will take me back to the Mike Davis years of recruiting nothing but wing players. Your site sucks, btw. IU basketball is a joke.
