Yeah! Ben never looked better than this: on the sidelines looking as confused as hell.

But I concede that Brady Quinn should have more of a grizzly Adams look, too or at least a kind of unshaved look. Maybe he should drive a pick-up truck with a couple of mean hound dogs in it and a rifle at the ready to bag a stray deer, too.

By the way, in watching the Bungles and Pee-burg Thursday Night game, I noticed that some key receivers from both teams dropped balls thrown right to them.

Is what Braylon Edwards has, catchy?

Dear Mr. Reality — or should I say, Delusional –

True, Quinn does not appear to be imposing and has a thick Columbus, Ohio accent (talking as fast as a Clevelander, but with a hint of a midwestern/middle Ohio “hick” accent, but not as appalachian-like as Cincinnati), and I admit, has a bit of a deer-in-headlights thing going.

But as long as he jumps up after being tackled, has his players’ ears in the huddle and works on that long ball, I join other Browns fans in hoping Quinn can bring Cleveland an 8-8 record when all is said and done.

By the way, what quarterback in your mind, is ideal?

Dear Mr. Much Needed Reality Check,

A win is a win is a win.

And if the Browns are just lucky with Quinn; if every win is ugly and not deserved, I will take them all!

By the time you add up how many games you should have won; how many games you should have lost, in the NFL it probably all comes out pretty even.

And I’ve said this before. Brady Quinn can’t help the way he looks. Not everyone can have the mean, imposing look of a Ben Roethlisberger.

A clutch boot to be sure, but let’s face facts: he should never have been attempting it in the first place, thanks to Brady “Thanks Mr. Buffalo DB for Dropping My Game-Choking Interception” Quinn. The game should’ve been over right then and there. Oh well, rabbit’s feet are rabbit’s feet, and here’s to Boy Brady making lots of game-losing picks in the future!
