Dave, I believe your question is answered in the newest <a href="http://www.midwestsportsfans.com/2008/10/fantasy-football-sleeper-focus-nfl-week-9/" rel="nofollow">Fantasy Football Sleeper Focus.</a>

Kaner, Tennessee may not have a better matchup than Tampa Bay this week, but you have to love their consistency on a weekly basis. There is definitely no D I'd rather have for the balance of the season than the Titans.

Thanks again for the great TE advice last week, H .Miller helped me out as I won by 3 points. I have another tough question for week 9. I have Drew Brees on bye as well as Steve Smith and Colston. I have dropped Miller and picked up Chad Pennington over both Jeff Garcia and Matt Ryan who were both available on waivers. Do you agree with that move? I have also dropped Jeremy Shockey and picked up Ted Ginn Jr. I dropped Minnesota's defense as I also have Buffalo which should have a favorable schedule coming up and potential suspensions in MN scare me. I have picked up Donnie Avery. My rambling question is this: I will be starting DeSean Jackson this week and have an open WR spot to fill with one of Ginn, Avery, or Lavernous Coles. Who do you go with?

Note: Be careful when looking towards New Orleans offense. is this team a high powered, high flying squad behind drew brees. He spreads the ball a little too well for fantasy owners. he got receptions to two different tight ends but neither was shockey... the recieving corps has proved that anyone is drews favorite. Colston is losing value and so is patten, worry about patten but lance moore has been the most consistent. But don't forget about Robert Meachem and Devery henderson. The reality is that this team goes too deep and scores a lot but the real fantasy is only brees.

Titans defense is unbelievable but they don't really get that much done against decent offenses fantasy wise....7 points last night, the two picks were big but any team playing brett farve could have more....tampa bay is a defense where you wlll find points, this squad finds turnovers, scores points... not usually available but if you can snag a decent trade with someone desperate you could be looking at 5 more points each week. Plus, you gotta love the game against the chiefs this week. Just watch out for their next game against the saints and carolina...tough teams to stop.

First of all, thank you for not referring to Matt Ryan by his stupid nickname. Considering the forum is called "Fire and Ice" I thought for sure I'd see a Matty Ice reference. I have obviously just sullied the entire discussion by doing it myself, but I applaud you on your restraint in keeping it out of the column. He has definitely been a surprise, and made Roddy White and absolute steal this year for people who thought he'd struggle with a rookie QB.

I am in first place in almost every fantasy league I am in, and the primary reason is Chris Johnson. I picked him up in the 7th-8th round of most of my drafts, and go a few "WTF's" when I drafted him. Who's laughing now, suckers?

And Drew Brees is unbelievable. If the Saints could just win more of their close games, he'd be the runaway choice for MVP without question. Even though he went to Purdue, I've always loved Brees and was pissed when the Dolphins passed on him way back when he came out of school. Easily one of the most underrated QBs of this decade -- now he just needs to have some playoff success to go along with all the stats.

And the Bengals...just pathetic. As "ice" as any team has ever been.

While we're on the subject of the Titans though, how about their defense? Unbelievable.
