What a great game! There is no conventional wisdom in the NFL. Never has a phrase been more apt than "Any Given Sunday."

Perhaps people were writing the Cleveland Browns off a little too quickly. With so parity in the AFC, 2-3 is not a horrible spot to be sitting in.

Well, I'm without cable, and apparently just missed a huge upset. I been itchin like a crackhead all day without my ESPN and now I miss Cleveland's upset of the Super Bowl champs. Who'da thunk it. So much for conventional wisdom...

Good first half...17-14 Browns. Braylon Edwards showed up, the DBs are making plays, and Derek looks fairly confident and in rhythm. And the substitute soldiers (Heiden and Dinkins) are picking up the Winslow slack.

Keep it up Browns!!!!

If the 0-5 Bengals could take the Giants to overtime 2 weeks ago, there is probably something to this Cleveland over New York Giants prediction.

Come on Joe! Can't you appreciate a little irrational optimism from a frustrated Browns fan? Of course all signs point to the Giants, which is precisely why the Browns have a chance tonight. It's the NFL..."any given Sunday"...where surprises aren't really surprises because crazy and unexpected stuff happens every week.

Can it happen tonight? I sure as hell hope so.

I like the optimism, but the Browns have a good a chance to beat the Giants as the Rams do of making the playoffs. Derrick Anderson has found a rhythm? My wife could find a rhythm against the Bengals... The Giants are too good at rushing the passer, have balance offensively, and are playing way too well right now for Cleveland to have a shot. I could be wrong, it is the NFL, but all things point to the Giants tonight.

I like your style, Jerod. AND your graphic. It looks like Kamerion Wimbley is giving Eli Manning a prostate exam. Hopefully Eli gets a case of BIG BALLS tonight and has to sit out, soldier-style.
