Police stopped Pittsburgh wideout Santonio Holmes yesterday because his car resembled that of a vehicle used for known drug trafficking. Although it was not the car police were looking for, they did find what appeared to be three large blunts (also know as “marijuana-filled cigars”) in Holmes’ vehicle.
A Steelers spokesman said that the team was still looking into the matter before they make a comment.
If Santonio Holmes is lucky enough to be suspended for the Steelers next game against the Giants, he will not
have to suffer through the embarrassment that the rest of his teammates will endure when the New York Football Giants make them look like a high school team on Sunday. In addition, Steelers “fans” will have an additional excuse as to why they didn’t fare as well as Cleveland did against the exact same team.
In the end, this blogger expects Sunday’s game to be a blowout, with or without Santonio Holmes, who incidentally attended THE Ohio State University.
Prediction:
Giants 34 – Pittsburgh 10
