Ben Roethlesbooger is not an “Ohio Boy”.
No self respecting OHIO BOY would ever play football in Pittsburgh.

Just because we are also better at basketball than you, doesn’t mean we’re not ALSO the superior football state. The question was asked, because the question asker knew it to be true in advance. How many times a day do you think someone asks if Delaware is considered “the football state”? Probably about as often as people from Pittsburgh take showers…

Dear Midwest Sports Fans current and prospective advertisers,

I would like to apologize in advance for any vitriolic and rancorous words or statements contained in the next comment from Ryan Russell. Please understand the nature of the debate, the passion of Ohio football fans, and the lunacy of the argument put forth in the preceding comment before you pass judgment.

We try our best (kind of…well, not really) to keep things clean here at MSF (like the picture of Kellen Winslow’s gigantic coconuts, for example) but I am wholeheartedly awaiting Russell’s response and planning to allow him complete freedom in giving Much Needed Reality Check a much needed reality check.

I hope you understand.

Well, Rudy, considering the first pro football game EVER was played in Western Pa., I’d say Sharon would be a more appropriate choice for the Hall than Cant-Win, Ohio.

By the way, here’s a little tidbit from OHIO NATIVE Ben Roethlisberger this week:

Q. “Does Ohio consider itself the football state?”

A: “No. Honestly, in my opinion, we are the in-between state. Indiana is the basketball state and Pennsylvania is the football state, so we have the best of both worlds.”

Got that Randy? Your Ohio boy himself says Penn’s Woods is THE football place. Am I a frickin’ genius, or what?
