Records Record Records, one of the two “Official Bands of Midwest Sports Fans” (the other being The Franchize) is playing a show in Dallas this weekend. Seeing as how these guys are frequent contributors to our site and unbelievably talented musicians, I wanted to give them a little pub here on the site. The following is a press release by Dallas Live Music that was just released online regarding their upcoming show:

Who: Ten bands are scheduled to perform, including: Deadman, Airline, Sunward, Rahim Quazi, Homer Hiccolm and The Rocket Boys, King Bucks, They Were Stars, Here in Arms, The O’s, and Records Record Records.
For Indianapolis-based Records Record Records, the September 13th live music show in Deep Ellum is the latest stop on the band’s first national tour.
“We’re excited for our first show in Dallas,†said Davey Heritier, vocalist, pianist, and guitar player for Records Record Records.  “Our first national tour has been really successful so far, and we look forward to another great show at Club Dada in Deep Ellum with a bunch of other great bands.â€
Records Record Records embarked on their first national tour at the beginning of the summer in support of the band’s debut EP: Leisure Sports and Substance Abuse Problems.  The tour has included shows at The Roxy in West Hollywood and will wrap up at the end of September in New York City with a show at the The Knitting Factory.

The September 13 show at Club Dada in Deep Ellum is a homecoming of sorts for Records Record Records bassist Jimmy King, a native of Lewisville. Â Rounding out the lineup for Records Record Records is vocalist and guitarist Drew Mowell, drummer Padraig Boyle, and production and sound engineer Kevin Vincent Bertolini.
