Oh yeah, it's always been that way. It will certainly be interesting to see where these two teams are come the final week of the season. The impact of his absence could be significant. Though relatively unheralded, the defensive ends in the Steelers’ 3-4 system are responsible for tying up offensive linemen, so that the linebackers can get to the ball. Last year, a season-ending injury to Aaron Smith arguably contributed to a downturn in the team’s performance late in the year.

I have never, so I think I'm sitting pretty. Okay, sorry. Just relieving a little frustration there. Derek definitely needs to start playing better or the calls for Brady will intensify. He needs Braylon to step it up and be the reliable deep threat he was last year. And the coaches could help him out with better play-calling (more screens and dumpoffs to Jerome Harrison, for one example). Week 3 is huge.
